What is ENROUTE®?
ENROUTE® is a surgeon-recommended nutrition program designed to help you prepare better and recover faster from surgery, taken twice daily for two weeks before and two weeks after surgery. It contains two drink formulas that are pre-portioned FDA medical foods, conveniently packaged and shipped directly to your door.

To ensure you receive the correct product, please have your surgeon’s name available when placing your order. You can select your protein source and flavor before adding it to the cart.
When should I order ENROUTE®?
ENROUTE® begins 2 weeks (14 days) before surgery, so we recommend placing your order at least 3 weeks (21 days) before surgery to allow time for shipping. If you would like to order ENROUTE® in advance before your surgery, it can be stored for several months until you are ready to take it. If your surgery is in less than 3 weeks and quickly approaching, you can still benefi t by starting as soon as possible. See the “Consumption” FAQ section for more information.
How long does it take for home delivery?

Will insurance pay for ENROUTE®?
Some insurance plans have the option to pay using your Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) when purchasing online, by phone, or at a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) store.
When do I take each product in ENROUTE®?
The program is designed to start 2 weeks before your surgery date. You can still participate if you missed this start date (See scenarios at end of section).
1. Start by taking ENROUTE® BUILD twice daily for 14 days before your surgery date.
- It can be taken alongside or in between your regular meals.
- It does not replace your meal, so we suggest taking your first serving between breakfast and lunch, and your second serving between lunch and dinner.
- For best results, consider taking it after physical exercise.
2. The evening before surgery, take ENROUTE® PREPARE twice within 2-3 hours.
- For Example: Serving 1 at 6:00 pm and Serving 2 at 8:00 pm.
- Do not drink anything the day of surgery unless otherwise directed by your care team.
3. Following surgery, return to taking ENROUTE® PREPARE twice daily for 14 days as described above.
How do I mix each product?
ENROUTE® BUILD can be mixed in various ways without affecting performance.
- Pour water of liquid of choice (water, milk, milk alternative) into the shaker bottle up to the 8.5 fl . oz. (250mL) mark.
- Add 1 package of ENROUTE® BUILD into the shaker bottle. Close the lid and shake thoroughly.
- Consume immediately.
- Note: You can also add it to your favorite smoothie recipe or blend it with ice for a frozen treat.
ENROUTE® PREPARE should only be mixed with water.
- Pour water into the shaker bottle up to the 13.5 fl . oz. (400mL) mark.
- Add 1 package of ENROUTE® PREPARE into the shaker bottle. Close the lid and shake thoroughly.
- Consume immediately.
Is this a meal replacement?
No. ENROUTE® products are not a recommended sole source of nutrition or meal replacement. They are best used to supplement a well-balanced diet.
My surgery is in less than 2 weeks. Can I participate?
Yes! If your surgery date is less than 2 weeks away, we recommend starting the program as soon as possible. If you miss any servings before your surgery, you can take them after surgery until all servings are fi nished. However, do not double doses to catch up. For example, if your surgery is in 7 days, take ENROUTE® BUILD twice daily for 7 days before surgery and twice daily for 21 days after surgery instead of the standard 14 days before and 14 days after surgery.
