I saw Dr Yi for an apparent sprained ankle that turned out to be an avulsion fracture. He was thorough in his manual exam of the ankle and calf while careful not to cause pain. He was polite and kind. He followed initial X-rays with a few additional pictures to make sure he hadn’t missed a high ankle sprain. He patiently explained what was going on with my ankle and how the strained ligament had caused a bone fragment to break away. Dr Yi answered all my questions and invited me to get in touch with any further concerns. Though this is the first time we met, he struck me as having all the qualities of a really good doc.
