Dr. Yi was the doctor I found to give me a second opinion on some major ankle surgery I needed. After meeting him for an initial visit I was very impressed with his demeanor and knowledge. He spoke compassionately and with a clear sense of expertise. He immediately had ideas on how to make me better. That was in strong contrast to previous doctors that only shared bad prognoses. Dr. Yi gave me much needed hope that I had none left of from my previous surgeon.
Every step leading up to the surgery was well coordinated and I felt no sense of confusion or anxiety about missing details. The surgery day went very smooth and Dr. Yi was with me before and after. He explained everything well in terms I could understand and made me feel comfortable and safe in his care.
Follow up visits were also very easy and continued giving me the feeling of being in very good hands. I feel that with Dr. Yi I will finally get a recovery that will improve my quality of life substantially.
